Sorry I missed last weeks entry, but Tommy was out of town for over a week and he's the one taking the pictures of me.
But here is the next update:
How far along? 19 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 10 lbs. +
Maternity clothes? yup
Sleep: pretty good most of the time
Miss Anything? horseback riding, snowboarding
Movement: I think I've been feeling tiny little movements. It's so subtle though, that it's really hard for me to tell. It almost feels like little bubbling or popping in my belly that I have been feeling more frequently now :) But I haven't had a big moment where I felt it for the first time and knew it was the baby. I guess I was just expecting it would feel different.
Food cravings: nothing special
Anything making you queasy or sick: my new prenatals, think I need to switch back to chewable ones
Symptoms: growing belly
Mood: Happy
Energy: feeling pretty good overall
Looking forward to: our next Ultrasound next week. We'll know for sure then if it's really a boy :)
Favorite Moment:
Tommy and I decided it's time to start prepping for the baby a little bit. So we started some nesting last week by getting a new (used) car ;) Since we've been sharing a car for a while and it's been harder for me to get around since I'm pregnant when Tommy is in Tucson, we decided to get a second car again. It was working ok before, because I could ride my bike or take the bus, but the bus doesn't go on weekends and I can't ride my bike pregnant and with snow on the roads. So I really don't wanna be stuck at home without a car in case something happens or I need to go somewhere. So we drove down to Phoenix on Saturday to look at cars. And we did find one! We probably went a little overboard, but we chose to get a car that we will be able to keep for a long time and use for everything we need it for. Tommy really wanted a truck so we could haul things, get firewood, move furniture, tow a camp trailer. Then it was important for us that we got a four door truck so we would have enough room to put a child seat in the back and the kids would be comfortable traveling for longer periods of time in it. We ended up getting a Ford F150, 4 door, 4x4 with a camper shell. Well, I still have to get used to how big it looks, but I think "The Mothership" (how we started calling it) will be perfect for our growing family. It's so exciting to plan and prep for our new family member. Thinking about all the trips we'll be taking in this truck and all this fun we will be having as a family!
