WEEK 16


















How far along? 16 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 8 lbs. +, up from 122 lbs to 130 lbs
Maternity clothes? Bought my first maternity pants and haven't worn anything else since then. Much more comfortable than trying to squeeze into my tight jeans.
Sleep: Still sleep like a rock. 
Miss Anything? snowboarding, seeing people drive up in the mountains with their boards strapped to their cars really makes me wanna get out there too
Movement: no movement yet…should be able to feel something soon though
Food cravings: sweets
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope
Symptoms: little bit of heartburn and little bit of nausea but overall I feel pretty good
Mood: Happy
Energy: I'm feeling really really good. Sometimes I get a little tired if I work too much and don't take enough breaks but other than that I feel great.
Looking forward to: feeling first movements


Favorite Moment: Funny conversation between Tommy and I
Me (looking at my belly in front of the mirror): Honey do I look pregnant yet?
Tommy: Yes babe, of course you do.
Me: I don't know, I feel like my belly should be a lot bigger by now.
Tommy: It definitely has grown already.
Me: I know, but I feel like it grew really fast a couple of weeks ago and now it stopped and looks the same. Shouldn't it be twice as big as two weeks ago by now?
Tommy: Stop worrying, you still have plenty of time to walk around with a big belly. Enjoy the time while it's not too uncomfortable.
Me: Yeah, I guess you're right. I just wish I could feel some movement or my belly would grow faster so I know everything is ok.

Well, we went back to the doctor yesterday. They took my weight and listened to the baby's heart beat. Everything is normal and as it's supposed to be :) I'm actually gaining weight quite fast, so it's good that my belly isn't twice as big already than two weeks ago, otherwise I would really need to stop eating so much.
